ITC Technopark "Novosibirsk" was created in 1997 as the independent noncommercial organization. Founders of the Centre are:

Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises,
Noncommercial partnership "Innovation Agency",
Administration of Novosibirsk region,
Executive directorate of Technopark "Novosibirsk".

Today ITC Technopark Novosibirsk works under following programmes:

- European Union Programme “Information Society Technologies”,
- European Union TACIS Programme "Development of Educational Links and Professional and Higher Education Initiatives" (DELPHI).
Russian
- Interdepartmental programme of activation of innovation activity in scientific and technical sphere of Russia for 1998-2000 (together with the Centre for assistance to development of scientific and technical business in the higher school),
- Creation of "Union of the innovation and technological centres of the Russian Federation" (together with the Ministry of a science and technologies of the Russian Federation and The Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (18 ITC of the Russian Federation)),
- Creation of "Territorial centre of network information base of subjects of innovation business" (together with Noncommercial partnership "Innovation Agency").

ITC of Technopark “Novosibirsk” closely cooperates with more than 80 firms, the preference is given to the firms which activity meets the requirements of priority directions of ITC, namely:

Telecommunication systems, information and computer technologies;
Power supply, resource and energy saving;
Biotechnologies on the basis of bioengineering (technologies of immuno-correction, manufacture of pharmaceuticals on the basis of local natural raw material of Novosibirsk region and Gornii Altai, use of biotechnological methods for production of biologically active substances, medical and preventive treatment and diagnostic drugs of new generation);
New materials (ceramic materials and nanoceramics, the superhard materials, biocompatible materials);
Laser technologies and instrument making;
Medical and ecological instrument making.

The list of services includes:

lease of industrial and office areas;
preparation of business plans and materials for search of investments;
information, exhibition, international support of activity of firms;
assistance to foreign economic activities;
engaging of firms in programmes of ITC.

"Sever":

History of creation of the site
In 1996 the site of ITC "Sever", being structural division of Technopark "Novosibirsk", has taken possession of building which is situated in Objedineniya str. 3. Originally this object was projected and built as a technical and engineering complex for development of national economy production. However, fast rates of reduction of the basic order and the absence of the state support of conversion measures have not allowed the enterprise to finish the start-up of a building and to find financing for its maintenance. For maintenance of property and support of the idea of creation of Technopark, the general director of “Sever” Gorb A.N. and the Administration of Novosibirsk region offered to create on the basis of a building the technical and engineering complex (the area 13900 m2) Technopark "Novosibirsk". The building has been placed in management in 1996 without carrying out of finishing, sanitary engineering, electric and other works. Since 1997 and until the present time for reconstruction of an energy system and for repairs of premises, Technopark "Novosibirsk" has been spent more than 15 million of roubles. Today practically all premises are repaired. Now in the building of ITC “Sever” 42 firms are situated, which carry on small business and entrepreneurship. Most of them have the opportunity to be engaged in development of new products and technologies, to locate the production of experimental model and serial production.
